This is the wastebasket the Pukomc sensor line is best known for. A slim white body sits on four wooden legs, so the bin looks closer to Nordic furniture than to bathroom hardware - guests regularly mistake it for a storage box. Underneath the styling is a practical machine: an infrared sensor lifts the lid without a touch, and the whole thing runs on two AA batteries.

A closer look

Hold-open sensor logic
The lid does not just flip up and slam. As long as your hands stay near the infrared sensor the lid stays open, which matters when you are scraping a cutting board or emptying a dustpan. Five seconds after movement stops, it closes on its own.
Sized for daily mess
At 8 by 8 inches and 16.3 inches tall, the 2.6-gallon body handles the small, constant waste of a bathroom or prep counter: paper, peelings, coffee grounds, crumbs. It also works with reusable grocery bags as liners.
Furniture, not fixture
The raised wooden legs keep the ABS body off the floor and give the bin a light, intentional look. In a white bathroom or a pale kitchen corner it blends in instead of announcing itself.
Simple to run
Setup is two AA batteries (not included) and a liner. There is no pedal to break and no lid to touch with egg on your hands - the point of the design is that kitchen disasters never require a clean finger.
